Come and dance the dances that Jane Austen danced

The Duke of Wellington's Dancers

Invite you to a

Regency Valentine Ball

at Compton Verney House

on Saturday 11th February 2017

Celebrate Valentine's Day by dancing the night away in the beautiful, romantic setting of a Grade I listed 18th century country mansion. Enjoy wearing the glamorous costumes like those you saw in Pride and Prejudice.

Dress for a ball - feathers and fans for the ladies, and what about a dashing military rig for you gentlemen, or a handsome Mr Darcy? (If costume really isn't your thing modern evening dress is fine but you'll have more fun in costume.)

This might help

Free welcome drink in the beautiful Naples gallery on arrival. Buffet supper. Cash bar available all evening.

If you are not familiar with the dances come to the afternoon Workshop, or just come early to view the art, promenade the Capability Brown landscape or partake of cream teas before the ball.

On Sunday, if you would like to extend the excitement, come with us on a guided walking tour of the beautiful and unique Georgian town of Warwick, in costume if you can, followed by Sunday lunch at the Warwick Arms Hotel.
